Welcome to Wildspotted. By creating an account or using our mobile application and web services, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.

1. Zero Tolerance for Objectionable Content and Abusive Behavior

Wildspotted is a community platform for sharing wildlife sightings. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior of any kind, including but not limited to:

  • Content that is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, or sexually explicit.
  • Hate speech, harassment, bullying, threats, or content that promotes violence or discrimination.
  • Content that depicts animal cruelty, poaching, illegal hunting, or wildlife trafficking.
  • Spam, scams, or content impersonating another person or entity.
  • Abusive, threatening, or harassing behavior towards other users.

Users who post objectionable content or engage in abusive behavior will have the offending content removed and may have their account permanently suspended, at Wildspotted's sole discretion.

2. Reporting and Blocking

Every capture, comment and user profile in the app includes a "Report" option so you can flag content that violates these Terms. You can also block any user, which immediately removes their content from your feed and prevents further interaction. Reports are reviewed by our team and acted upon within 24 hours: offending content is removed and, where appropriate, the responsible account is suspended.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. You must be old enough to use the app in accordance with your local laws.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the photos and content you upload. By posting to Wildspotted, you grant us a license to display that content within the app for the purposes of the service (feed, maps, leaderboards, profile). You are solely responsible for the content you upload and must have the right to share it.

5. Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and data at any time from the app's Settings. Deletion requests are processed within 7 days.

6. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

7. Who We Are

Wildspotted is operated by Iván González Bustelo (BusTech), NIF 78806690-L, Antequeira, 2 · 15911 Rois, A Coruña (Spain) · bustech.es. These Terms are governed by Spanish law.
